Great question about the different peels. The jessner and (un-buffered) glycolic are going to be our strongest peels.
The Jessner works from the inside out so you will see frosting and flaking on the skin. It is well suited for clients with extensive skin damage, cystic acne and/or very oily skin and using a retinol product is recommended to help prepare the skin for the peeling process.
The Glycolic works from the outside in so it is less abrasive but equally as effective. Our Glycolic Acid is from natural fruit acids and rejuvenates the skin by encouraging the shedding of old, damaged surface skin cells. Our glycolic peels have powerful anti-aging ingredient by itself, so many of our glycolic acid products are considered anti-aging treatments as well.
Please be aware that because of the pharmaceutical grade quality and the un-buffered formula you will get a real, professional strength peel and it is extremely important to use caution when applying these formulas. I recommend starting with a mild peel (30% buffered glycolic or 3% salicylic) and gradually building yourself up to a stronger peel.
