Products for my mature, dry skin
Question:
I am 61 years old.
I consider my skin dry.
I use the glycolic peels already, and I want to purchase other products, but am confused as to what to get.
Would you recommend this -
Gel cleaner
Hydra Essence Toner
Herbal moisture creme
Liquid silk
D20 mist spray
I am just confused as to which moisturizer, etc. to get. I also saw where you have Pro-Med retinal face cream.....
Is this a moisturizer so you wouldn't use herbal moisture creme?
I want to start (slowly) to try your other products. Can you help me select which to start out with?
I saw face firming complex - but would I use that with moisturizer also?
Please, just send me any info on "how to get started" with the "switch" to your products.
I have clear skin, olive complexion. Looks a lot younger than the 61 years and I would like to keep it that way.
Thanks for your time.
Answer:
Thank you for your recent interest in our products! You are correct in your suggestions. I would recommend the Arnica Facial Wash for a creamy cleanser if you prefer a more gentle cleanser for mature, dry skin. If you prefer an oil-free cleanser, the Glyco-lactic Gel Cleanser is a popular one for all skin types. This also doubles as a body wash if you find it too drying for your face. Hydra Essence toner is an excellent hydrator for sensitive, dry skin. I am in my early forties and I love the Herbal Moisture Creme as a night treatment as I am not overly dry. You could use this creme day and night, followed by the Liquid Silk for the ultimate in hydration. The Liquid Silk is rich in pure oil extracts, and brings about a rosy, healthy glow to the skin as it hydrates and rejuvenates.
The Pro-Med Face Cream is more of a treatment than the Herbal Moisture. It contains the Alpha/Beta Hydroxy acids which help to reduce the signs of aging, such as fine lines, sun/aging spots, and adds to a youthful, more even tone to the skin. The Face Firming works much in the same way as this, an anti-aging treatment. I would recommend the Liquid Silk as a must, because it is inter-changeable with any of our products. Then it would be up to you if you want more hydration at night, you could use the Pro-Med Face Cream.
As for the D2O Mist, this is a wonderful, throughout-the-day hydrator. It is especially good for dry climates and and for use when you travel by airplane. You can't go wrong with any of these products. For making the switch, you may want to start with the cleanser, toner and choose a moisturizer plus the Liquid Silk and you're set!
You describe your skin as looking younger than your 61 years...great for you! Any of these products will help you maintain and improve on that. I am happy to help, and hope some of these suggestions will direct you on your purchase. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need further assistance.
